Age 94 passed away peacefully August 1, 2017 at her residence in Gibsonia. Beloved wife of the late John C. Lucas.
Betty was born April 2, 1923 in Millvale, PA to the late Joseph and Catherine Leo. Loving Mother of two daughters and son-in-laws: Patricia and John Pasquinelli
of Gibsonia, and Sandra Boyle-Rossetti and James Rossetti of Roseville, CA. Dearest sister of Joseph (Eileen) Leo, James (Carol) Leo and Angelina (Ron) Beyerl. Sister-in-law of Mae (Lucas) Dobin and Kathleen (Lucas) Martin. She was preceded in death by Joseph Paul Leo, Jr., Mary Louise Leo, Paul Robert Leo, Sr. and Helen (Leo) Mikszan. Proud Grandmother of Kristen (James) Slomka, Marc (Kathy) Pasquinelli and Sara Pasquinelli; Paul (Michelle) Boyle III, Shannon (Jeremy) Hughes and Kirstie Polentz. Cherished Great Grandmother of Connor, Anton and Tyler Slomka; Luke, Maria and Madelon Pasquinelli; Jameson, Stella Elizabeth and Jackson Lucas Boyle; and Aiyla Hughes. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Betty served in the U.S. Army during World War II as an office administrator. She was a member of the Christian Mothers of St. Mary’s of the Assumption Church in Glenshaw, and a member of the Ladies Auxiliary for the Middle Road Fire Department. She held the position of Head Chef at LaRoche College in Allison Park for 17 years.

Family and friends will be received on Friday, August 4, from 2:00 to 8:00 at Neely Funeral Home, 2208 Mt. Royal Boulevard, Glenshaw.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Mary’s of the Assumption Church, Glenshaw on Saturday August 5 at 9:00 a.m.
