Age 80, of Glenshaw, passed away Monday with his family by his side.  A veteran, he served in the Army from 1960-1962.  He retired at age 70 and enjoyed going to Steeler games and spending time with his family. A car enthusiast, he loved participating in his local Corvette Club. He never forgot a birthday or special occasion, and he was known to always light up the room. He was well-liked by his many friends, and he loved to laugh and was always filled with joy. 

He is survived by his beloved wife of 59 years, Rachel (Potts), children Craig (Mary Ellen) and Laura (Joseph Zewe), grandchildren Emily, Rachel and Kyle Hysong and Colleen, Joe and Shannon Zewe. In heaven he joins his loving parents, Alvin and Julia Hysong, and his brother John Alvin. 

Visitation Thurs. 6-8 p.m. and Fri. 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at Neely Funeral Home, 2208 Mt. Royal Blvd., Glenshaw, PA 15116.

Mass of Christian Burial Sat. 10:00 a.m. at St. Bonaventure Church.
