Born in McDonald, Pa, died peacefully on July 25, 2017. Preceding him in death were his wife Mae Bright (1993) and their son William Gary (2014). Bill is survived by 2 granddaughters, Roberta and Jennifer, and their children William, Zachary, Perry, Tristin, Rebecca, Jason, and Vivian. 

Bill worked as a locomotive engineer for the B&O railroad until he retired in 1987 after 40 years service. A soft spoken man of many interests, he will be missed by his family and friends. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Diabetes Association, 2 Chatham Center, Suite 1520, 112 Washington Place, Pittsburgh, PA 15219.

Visitation will be at Neely Funeral Home, 2208 Mt. Royal Blvd., Glenshaw, on Thursday, July 27 from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service at 12 noon, followed by the interment at Mt. Royal Cemetery.
