Jean Christine (Dittrich) Panza

Jean Christine (Dittrich) Panza, age 93, on April 4, 2024. She was born July 15, 1930 to Theodore and Christina Dittrich. The second daughter of four children Jean learned early on about hard work and supporting her family.  She married Michael Charles Panza in November of 1953 and they started a family in Ross Township near Pittsburgh. Jean was a devoted mother and homemaker.  Her family was the center of her world.  Known as Nana to five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren, Jean was fond of saying that age is only a number. Jean is preceded in death by her husband Michael Panza and her parents Theodore and Christina Dittrich, her brother Sonny Dittrich and sister Dolores Warych. Jean is survived by her brother Fred (Suzanne) Dittrich and is loved and missed by her three children Michael  (Julie) Panza, Dr. Jeanne (Jonathan) Sutton, and Maria (Donald) O’Connor. Grandchildren Dr. Carly (Ryan Terry) O’Connor-Terry, Sean O’Connor and Kevin O’Connor, Tori (Matthew) Kolodziej, Jared Panza and great-grandchildren Oliver Terry and Levi and Jonah Kolodziej and cherished and devoted nieces and nephews.

Visitation Sunday April 7 from 2-4 and 6-8 PM at Neely Funeral Home, 2208 Mt. Royal Blvd., Glenshaw. 

Funeral Service Monday April 8th at 10 AM at the funeral home.
