Veronica "Alice" B. (Schwartz) Golobic

Age 93, of Shaler Twp., passed away suddenly at her home on Friday March 16, 2018.  

She was born on May 8, 1924 in Pittsburgh. Originally from Etna.  

Loving mother of Robert Golobic and Vincent “Jim” Golobic.  

Wife of the late Vincent P. Golobic.  

Sister of Caroline Karlik, Francie Rodgers, Joseph Schwartz, Dianna Steinman, Evelyn Dell and the late Anna Marie Kuznar, John Schwartz, William Schwartz and Dolores Holderny.  

Grandmother of Robin Speas (Mike) and Michele Moore.  

Great grandmother of Maria, Gabriella, and Amelia Speas and Stella and Skylar Moore.  

Alice had a green thumb and still planted her flowers in the spring to enjoy in the summer.  She also enjoyed cooking and baking.  

Family and friends will be received Monday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at Neely Funeral Home, 2208 Mt. Royal Blvd., Glenshaw.  

Mass of Christian Burial Tuesday 10:00 a.m. at St. Mary of the Assumption Church, Middle Rd. Burial to follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery, Sharpshill.
