Agata Curigliano, 71, of Morningside entered a life of eternal joy surrounded by her family on May 16, 2026.
Daughter of the the late Natale and Caterina Corigliano. Beloved wife of Pietro A. Curigliano: Loving Mother of Jack (Peyton): Vicky (RJ) Groholski. Devoted sister of Frank (Debbie) Corigliano: Rachel (Dino) Muccino: Nancy (Wayne) Allen; the late Tony (surviving Annette) Corigliano. Cherished Aunt of many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
Agata migrated from Filogaso Italy at a young age, returning later to marry the love of her life. Both returning to America to build a life together and raise their children. She was hard working, funny, stubborn in the best ways, and deeply compassionate. She proudly passed down her Italian traditions, which included her countless home made meals and cookies. Her truest joy was spending time with family and friends. She enjoyed bringing everyone together with her food, welcoming everyone to the table with an open heart. She was a simple woman of deep faith and character. Her rosary were her constant companion and thoughtful prayers were continuous for those in need of spiritual support.
Her legacy of faith, generosity, joy, and love will continue to live on through the countless people who’s lives she touched. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
