Carol D. Biertempfel, age 92, of Shaler Township on March 21, 2026. 

Wife of Paul E. Biertempfel and the late Milton Austin. 

Mother of Sharon (Strang) Zook (Ethan) and David Biertempfel (Katherine). 

Grandmother of Kristi Strang (David Jackson), Kelly Watson (Ashton), Jake Strang (Jordan)Ashley Watson, John Watson and Lauren Hallet (Shane). 

Great grandmother of Ashton, Heath, Collins, Palmer, Barrett, Dylan, Scott, Mark, Connor, Madeline, and Owen. 

Daughter of the late Carl F. and Mary (DeTemple) Hespenheide. 

Sister of Robert and the late Bud, Fritz, Bill and Jack Hespenheide. 

Carols joy came from her devoted husband Paul and her children, grand children and great grandchildren. She will always be remembered for her Thanksgiving feast with her family. 

Visitation will be held on Wednesday March 25th from 2-4 and 6-8 PM at Neely Funeral Home, 2208 Mt. Royal Blvd., Glenshaw. 

Funeral Service Thursday the 26th at 10 AM at the funeral home.
