Catherine Eileen Hunkele, age 89, of Shaler Township, on January 9, 2022.
Daughter of the late Lawrence J., Sr. and Marie Morgan Hunkele.
Sister of the late Lawrence J. Hunkele, Jr., Mary Virginia Hunkele and Marian Ahlstrom.
Aunt of Paul Ahlstrom (Janet) of Loveland,Co and Kathleen Hotaling (late husband John) of Riverview, FL.
Also survived by great nieces and nephews, great-great nieces and nephews and dear cousins including Thomas and Joan Dougherty of Gibsonia.
Catherine was a retired registered nurse. She was a graduate of St. Louis University (undergraduate), attended Columbia University and obtained her Ph.D. from the University of Pittsburgh.
Visitation Monday January 17, 2022 from 10:00 A.M.until time of Blessing Service at 11:00 A.M. at Neely Funeral Home 2208 Mt. Royal Blvd., Glenshaw.
