Cheryl Rita Schrantz

Cheryl Rita Schrantz, age 78, of Shaler Township, suddenly on January 20, 2023, one day shy of her 79th birthday. 

Beloved wife of the late Thomas J. Schrantz; 

loving mother of Rita (Alex) Rowady, Tom (Kim) Schrantz, Angela (Bob) Quinn, and Theresa (Tim) O'Donoghue; 

devoted grandmother of “her lucky 13” Jackson, Davis, Madison, Thomas, Garrett, Paige, Jack, Kennedy, Hilary, Aideen, Dillon, Conlan, and Eamon; 

Daughter of the late Charles and Rita Wells; 

Sister of Barbara Bridges and the late Charles Wells, Mary Elizabeth Wells, Christine Phillips, Jane Engelbrecht and Frances Kennedy. 

Cheryl had a real zest for life and cherished her family, friends, and community. She loved to travel and was always ready for her next adventure. 

Visitation Friday 1-3 and 5-7 p.m. at Neely Funeral Home, 2208 Mt. Royal Blvd., Glenshaw. 

Funeral Mass Saturday at 10 a.m. at St. Matthew Parish, St. Bonaventure Church, Glenshaw. 

In lieu of flowers memorials suggested to the Greater Pittsburgh Food Bank.
