Mother of Jim Rost (Colette), Mary Anne Porter (Gene), Joan Jonas (Tom), Sally Powell (Bill), Tom Rost (Sue), Amy McGaughey (Brian), Katie Liss, Craig McAllister (Marie) and Mark Carroll.

Grandmother of Hannah, Lucy, Bridget, Charolette, Emily, Tim, Kathryn, Natalie, Kelly, Dan, Amy, Molly, Nora, Alyssa, Kristen, Matt, Maura, Amanda, Lauren, Adam, Ben, Matt, Emma, and Ian.

Great grandmother of Wyatt, Owen, Luke, Cora, Noah, Claire, Lily, Grace, Declan, Maeve, Nina and Mila  with 3 on the way.

Sister of the late Leonard Kenyon and Anna Mae Kenyon.

She graduated from Pittsburgh Hospital School of Nursing in 1949 and then went on to Mercy Hospital School of Anesthesia. She worked as a nurse anesthetist throughout her career at Pittsburgh, Columbia and then St. John’s Hospitals until she retired.

Her passions were sewing, playing the piano, knitting , crocheting, but by far her family was the most important aspect of her life. She was the matriarch of the family, always instilling values and hard work that has stayed with all.

 Visitation Fri. 3-8 P.M. Neely Funeral Home 2208 Mt. Royal Blvd. Glenshaw.

Funeral Mass Sat. 10:00 A.M. St. Matthew Parish at St. Bonaventure Church.
