Courtney A. Freeman, 45, of Hillsborough, NJ passed away peacefully at home on Friday, April 2, 2021 after a six-year battle with breast cancer. Born in the Allison Park area of Pittsburgh, PA, she moved to Hillsborough with her family in 2006. She earned a BS in Engineering from Purdue University, and an MBA from Carnegie Mellon University.
Courtney began her career at the Kellogg Company as an Assistant Food Technologist working on new product and production process development. After business school, she began her illustrious career at Johnson & Johnson, starting as a Raw Material Planner in Ethicon’s Global Supply Chain. She continued to advance to positions of increased responsibilities in Strategy Development, Manufacturing Management and Network Optimization. Courtney was admired for her enthusiasm to learn, being a compassionate leader and her dedication and work ethic.
In her free time, Courtney enjoyed music, travelling, spending time with family, and getting together with friends. She loved to sing and dance, and both daughters have taken after their mother. She loved trips with work and family to see different parts of the USA and other countries, and enjoyed learning about the places and cultures she visited.
Courtney is survived by her husband of twenty-one years, Scott, her two daughters, Robin and Shannon, her parents, James and Claudine Faint, her sister, Tiffany, her brother, Darryl, and her aunt, Pam.

Blessing Service Fri. 10:30 A.M. at the funeral home.
