Daneen Elsie Stover

July 4, 1941 – May 27, 2026

The daughter of Leo Rosenberger, Daneen grew up in McKeesport, PA. She held many fond memories of her childhood, where she enjoyed board games, playing in the marching band, and visiting amusement parks. She attended college and became an elementary school teacher. Throughout her life, she remained a loyal and devoted sister to her siblings.

Daneen married Richard W. Stover, Sr. in 1964 and remained his devoted wife until his passing in 2024. While raising their three sons, she maintained an impeccable home. As such her perseverance and endurance must be noted as one of her many virtues and was a foundational influence for her family. Her commitment to excellence in all her endeavors served as a lasting inspiration across generations.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Richard Wilfred Stover, Sr. (1940–2024), and her sister, Judith A. Dickinson (1943–2023). She was also the sister of Craig Rosenberger.

Daneen is survived by her three sons and their families: Richard W. Stover, Jr. and his children, Eric Leo Stover (father to Autumn Elizabeth Stover, Caden Leo Stover, and a grandson due in June 2026); David Leo Stover and his children, Nathaniel John Stover and Abigail Rhae Stover; and Daniel Douglas Stover.

Her superb abilities as an educator and her dedication to her loved ones will be deeply missed and long remembered by all who knew her.
