Debra A. Wolfson

Debra A. Wolfson, On Friday, May 27, 2022, of Allison Park, age 60.  Beloved wife of Tim Wolfson; Mom of Jessica (Carlos) Smith and Lindsay (Nicholas) Haberman; Meemaw of Lily Haberman, Elijah Haberman, Isaiah Smith, Beaux Smith, and Hope Smith; daughter of the late Catherine Bacasa and the late Michael Bacasa; sister of Michele (Steven) Pepmeyer and Michael (Holly) Bacasa; also survived by many nieces and nephews and friends.  Debby lived with cancer for more than five years, and she lived fully and well until the very end. Debby passed away peacefully while listening to her favorite music with her family.  

Debby loved everyone and let them know it daily. She was a caretaker, a cuddler and a listener. She found joy in the laughter of friends, her grandkids, the (many) family traditions, matching pajamas, New Orleans, Lewes Delaware and good dancing songs. Debby was the Pittsburgh road mom to countless traveling musicians. She gave the best hugs.

In lieu of flowers, donations, or food, the family requests honoring Debby by gathering some friends to go out for a beverage or meal, and leaving your servers a huge tip in her memory. While you are at it, go see some local music, fill up the tip bucket and buy a cd and some merch. 

Friends will be received at a public celebration of life in Debby’s memory later this summer. There will be no public viewing or public funeral service.
