Elizabeth (Milbert) Woods

Elizabeth (Milbert) Woods, beloved wife of Harvey Woods, passed away peacefully on July 21st with Harvey by her side.  They graduated together in 1960 from Shaler High School and were married on June 9th, 1962.  Elizabeth (Betty) was born to Laura and Albert Milbert on October 12th, 1942.  She is survived by her daughter Linda (Mike) Kelley, son James Woods, grandchildren Sean (Hanna) Kelley and Lauren Kelley, sister Bernice Graeb, and was preceded by her brother Ronald Milbert.  She is also survived by brothers-in law Ed (Teena) Woods and Tom (Judy) Woods as well as many nieces, a nephew and countless long-time friends.  Betty was an avid reader, loved her plants and birds, dinners with friends, Myrtle Beach vacations, and family get-togethers especially Thanksgiving at daughter Linda's home in Maryland.   She worked as a secretary for The Pediatric Alliance for 25 years before retiring in 2008.  She then volunteered the last few years at North Hills Community Outreach until becoming ill in December 2019.  She was loved and will be missed by all who knew her. No visitation.  A memorial service will be held at a later date.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to North Hills Community Outreach, 1975 Ferguson Road, Allison Park, PA  15101.
