Frank Woods

Frank Woods, age 70 of Shaler, passed away on 4/24/2023 surrounded by loved ones. 

Born 5/29/1952 in Pgh, PA and attended Sharpsburg High School. 

After graduating, his creative side led him into a long and successful career as a Hairstylist. In his earlier years he traveled the country teaching at Hair Shows and owned several salons Downtown & most recently at Frank Woods Hairsalon in Aspinwall. 

In his spare time he could be found playing golf, lifting weights, and in his younger years he was member of the illustrious “Jack Ruby & The Shooters” Bocce team. 

He was a Legend in the eyes of those who knew him. We will miss you Big Frank!

He was preceded in Death by his wife Robin, and his parents Rose & Lou Woods.

Frank is survived by his son Dan (Bridget); and grandchildren Frank & Robin. Also survived by siblings : Lou deceased (Susie), Larry (Cheryl), Maryanne, Lenny (Amy), Terri (Phil), Betty (Joe) and his many nieces & nephews.

Friends Received at Neely Funeral Home, 2208 Mt.Royal Blvd., Friday April 28th from 2-4 & 6-8pm

Funeral Mass will be held at St, Matthew Parish, St. Bonaventure Church Saturday April 29th at 10am. 

Interment at St.Mary Cemetery Sharpshill
