Gerald C. Mercadante

Gerald C. Mercadante, age 88 of Gibsonia, passed peacefully on January 12, 2022.  

Loving husband of 66 years to Janet Mercadante.  

Beloved father of Jerry (Terri) Mercadante, Sheree (Daniel) Kohley, Jeff (Penny) Mercadante, Marcy (Christopher) Perrygo and his precious late daughter Jayne (age 8) Mercadante.  

Son of the late Roberta and John Mercadante.  

Son-in-law of the late Hazel and Joseph McGarry.  

Brother of Marlene Persi, Dennis Mercadante, Eleanor Gray, Clarence Mercadante, Dale Mercadante, Leah Rae Helm, and the late Ronald Mercadante, William Mercadante, Rose Durkin, Judy Cheuvront, Joy Torbic, and brother-in-law Joseph McGarry.  

Beloved grandfather to Dr. Julie (Ben) DeVore, Daniel (Sherri) Kohley, Michael (Brianne) Kohley, Adam Mercadante, Kurt Perrygo, Trent Perrygo, Lauren Perrygo, Christina (Thomas) Jackman, and George (Francesca) Pilafas. As well as 10 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. 

Jerry graduated from Hopewell H.S. in 1952.  He was a retired Sales Manager with Prudential Insurance Co.  Jerry was an avid golfer for many years and enjoyed spending quality time with his grandchildren.
