Howard Miller, Sr. Obituary

Howard R. Miller Sr. (Cup), age 85, of Glenshaw, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on April 23, 2021.  Born in O’Hara Twp. on December 3, 1935, he was the son of the late Perry C. and Mary B. (Braun) Miller.  Beloved husband for 65 years of Josie (Smalley) Miller.  Dear father of Debra (Frank) Rubel Jr.; Howard (Ruth) Miller Jr.; Robert (Jennifer) Miller; and Charles (Mary Ellen) Miller.  Loving Pap of grandchildren Frank (Brooke Hahn) Rubel III; Jonathan Miller; Eric (Christina) Miller; Alex Miller; Charles Miller Jr.; Kassandra (Alex) Deem; and great-granddaughter Julianna Miller.  Survived by brother-in-law Valentino Francioni Sr. and many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Howard was preceded in death by his sister Mary Catherine Adler; and brothers Lewis H. Miller and James P. Miller, Sr. Howard retired after 45 years of service as a truck driver for Glenshaw Glass Co.

Visitation Monday 2-4 and 6-8 PM at Neely Funeral Home, 2208 Mt. Royal Blvd., Glenshaw.

Blessing service Tuesday 11 AM at the funeral home.
