Husband of Carol Berger Koedel.
Father of Andrea Koedel and Jennifer Egan (John).
Grandfather of David Krenn III (Trish), Kaitlin Ditmore (Trevor), Steven Krenn, and Tyler Egan.
Great grandfather of Joseph and Shyanne Simmons, Brianna Krenn and Luca Ditmore.
Son of the late Leland and Anna Mae Koedel.
Brother of Sally Borland (David), Thomas Koedel (Harriet), and the late Dorothy Anderson.
John was a member of Etna VFD, Shaler Hampton EMS, John E. Maier Masonic Lodge Mars #729, Haridge Unit, Syria Shrine, Syria Legion of Honor and Emmanuel Lutheran Church.
Visitation Thursday 6-8 PM and Friday 2-4 and 6-8 PM at Neely Funeral Home, 2208 Mt. Royal Blvd., Glenshaw.
Funeral Service Saturday 11 AM at Emmanuel Lutheran Church, Etna. Everyone Please Meet At Church.
In lieu of flowers memorials suggested to Shriners Children’s Erie, 1645 W 8th St., Erie, PA 16505.
