John J. Weber of Allison Park sadly passed away in the early hours of January 24, 2023. John was surrounded by his wife and children.
John was born April 12, 1943, in Bayreuth, Germany, son of Hermann Weber and Kunigunde(Geza) Szirandi, and came to the United States in March of 1953. A loving son, husband, father, and grandfather, John leaves behind pieces of history, great stories, a strong legacy, and many loving memories.
John is survived and cherished by his wife Antonietta Weber, his children Carolyn (Scott) Congalton and Michael (Cheryl) Weber, siblings, Christian Weber, Christine Niedermeyer, Ruth Ferraro, and Ellen (Frank) Schmalleger. John is also survived by those who sweetly called him “Grumpy,” his eight grandchildren Melissa (Steve) Weaver, Jessica (John) Kildoo, Alex Congalton, Alexis Weber, Michael Wiesenfeld, Dylan Wiesenfeld, Kayla Wiesenfeld, Austin Wiesenfeld, nine great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to John’s parents, he is preceded in death by his brother Hermann Weber, sister Angelika Kadische, brother-in-laws Larry Niedermeyer and Angelo Ferraro, and sister-in-law Mary Weber.
Family and friends may gather to pay their respects this Thursday, January 26, 2023, at Neely Funeral Home (2208 Mt Royal Blvd, Glenshaw) 2-4 pm and 6-8 pm. A Blessing Service will follow on Friday January 27, 2023 at 11 am at Neely Funeral Home.
