Joseph E. Stivorich, age 87, of Shaler Twp., on April 16, 2022.

Husband of the late Lillian Eister Stivorich.

Uncle of Julia (Alecia) Bubanovich, Mary Ellen (Paul) Rizzo.

Special friend of Bobbi Janota.

Joseph was a lifelong member of St. Nicholas Church, Millvale, The Croatian Fraternal Union, The KSKJ, Moose Lodge #46 and proud supportive member of AA.

“Joza” had a quick wit and always appreciated hearing or telling a good joke. If you were around Joza, you would be laughing. His presence guaranteed a smile.  He loved to perform and sing with his guitar. You were among the lucky ones to have received his musical birthday greeting. There was never an animal he didn’t like or who didn’t like him: dogs, cats, birds, and chickens. If you needed a pet treat, Joza had a few in his pocket to share just in case. You were definitely special or touched his heart if you were gifted a wooden clothes pin rocking chair made with love and good intention from Joza.

Visitation Tuesday 2-4 and 6-8 PM at Neely Funeral Home, 2208 Mt. Royal Blvd., Glenshaw. (The family respectfully requests that masks be worn during the visitation.)

Mass of Christian Burial Wednesday 10 AM at St. Nicholas Church, 24 Maryland Avenue, Pittsburgh, PA 15209.
