Kenneth Klocko Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Kenneth P. Klocko, 77, of McCandless, who passed away on July 17, 2026.

Born on April 8, 1949, Kenneth grew up on Pittsburgh’s North Side. Kenneth was a veteran of the United States Army where he served in the Vietnam War. At the conclusion of his military service, he began a career with H.J. Heinz company where he retired after more than 35 years. He was known above all for his humble nature, quick wit, sense of humor, creativity, and selflessness, always placing others before himself. Kenneth was fundamentally kind and exceptionally funny—qualities that touched everyone who knew him. He enjoyed fishing, going on cruises, watching Pittsburgh sports, cooking, being outdoors, and spending time with his cats.

Kenneth is survived by his loving wife Irene, with whom he shared a love of more than 50 years, his son, John M. (Joanne) Klocko; his cherished grandchildren, John B. Klocko and Jacquelyn B. (Michael) Tedesco. He was preceded in death by his parents, Alex and Ruth Klocko, his brother William Klocko, and his sister Judith Weber.

Family and friends will be received from 2:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 23, 2026, at Neely Funeral Home, 2208 Mount Royal Boulevard, Pittsburgh, PA 15116. A prayer service will be held at Neely Funeral Home immediately following visitation at 7:00 p.m. Thursday evening. Burial with military honors at the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies will be private.
