Mark A. Zagorski

Mark Alan Zagorski of Gibsonia passed away peacefully at Passavant Hospital on Monday, November 13, 2023. He was finally reunited with his mom and dad Linda and Michael Zagorski, both of Gibsonia, who preceded him in death.  
Mark was born on November 2, 1976 and made the world a much better place every day since. Mark learned a good work ethic from his parents and carried that into each of the several jobs he held over the years. He was always commended for being such a hard worker while still socializing with everyone.  His 10-year employment at Eat ‘n Park made him well-known in the community.
Mark’s upbeat personality, wit, and charm made him a friend to everyone he met, and those who were lucky enough to know him benefitted far more from that friendship than he did.  Mark’s easy-going nature, ability to forgive anyone for anything, and positive outlook on any situation will stand out as the reasons so many will always cherish the time spent with him.
Pittsburgh sports topped the list of Mark’s favorite pastimes. He planned his days around what time “the big game” was on and the latest and greatest players were his favorite topics to discuss with others.  Friday night high school football games with his dad were anticipated all week long.  It was a very rare occasion that Mark’s attire from head to toe was not advertising his favorite teams.
If not watching sports, Mark was keeping up with the latest WWE chaos and quoting Roman Reigns or John Cena while flexing his muscles for you.
Many lifelong friends were made at the different day programs and special needs events that Mark attended over the years, most importantly the dances.  Mark loved to dance and will always be remembered for his famous Greased Lighting performances he would do with his buddies or at home.
Mark is survived by his sister, Amy Bajus of Gibsonia, as well as his two favorite people in the entire world, nieces Grace Bajus and Shelby Bajus, and aunt and uncle Dona and Richard Zagorski of Glenshaw.
Celebrate Mark’s life with his family on Wednesday, November 15, 2023, from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. at Neely Funeral Home, 2208 Mt. Royal Blvd., Glenshaw. A funeral service will be held on Thursday at 11:30 a.m. at the funeral home.
