Marlene M. (Buckley) Boyd

Marlene M. Buckley Boyd, age 61, on October 1st Marlene unexpectedly passed away at home. She leaves behind her loving sons Keegan and Declan Boyd (Taylor). She is also survived by parents John and Carolyn Buckley, siblings Michele (Tom) Ford, Marilyn (and the late Raymond) Sieber, John (Jen) Buckley and many adoring nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and Godchildren.  Marlene was a dear friend to many.  A second family was nurtured through neighbors and sporting team parents.   Cooking was one of her passions which conveyed her thoughtfulness and love to the many she held dear in her heart.  Often times solely catering an event, she would put others before herself.  She enjoyed soaking up the sun in Erie with friends and beach trips with her family.  She was the life of the party and her infectious laugh and questionable humor will be sorely missed.  Above all, she was most proud of her sons.  She never missed a sporting event and was their biggest cheerleader.  Her greatest rewards in life came from witnessing her cherished boys grow into the outstanding young men they have become.  She will continue to watch from above.  We believe she was warmly welcomed to heaven by the many family and friends who have gone before her.

Funeral Mass Friday October 6th at 10 AM at St. Matthew Parish, St. Bonaventure Church, Everyone Please Meet At Church.
