Mary Jeanne Byers

Age 86, of Cranberry Twp., on Feb 4, 2016 following a lengthy illness. A native of Watertown, SD, she was a nursing graduate of St. Catherine University, St. Paul, MN. She and her late husband, John L. Byers, were avid travelers in their later years with a particular love for the Tucson, AZ area, where they lived in retirement. Since 2006, she was a resident of Sherwood oaks retirement community and a member of St. Ferdinand Church, Cranberry Township. Surviving are five children, Stephen (Anita) Byers of Glenshaw, PA; Jane (Brandon) Jones of Berry, KY; Daniel (Sherry) Byers of Aurora, IL; Gerianne (John) Mann of Loch Lloyd, MO; and Katherine (Donald) Prock of Raleigh, N.C. Nine grandchildren Christopher (Kimberly) Byers, Sara Byers, John Jones, Bryan (Courtney) Mann, Bradley Mann, Tyler Mann, Laura Mann, Jessica Prock and Kyle Prock; and one sister, Mrs. Theron (Kay) Born of Cumming, GA

Visitation Friday 2-9 p.m. at Neely Funeral Home 2208 Mt. Royal Blvd., Glenshaw

Funeral Service Saturday 12:00 Noon at St. Bonaventure Church
