Age 85, of Ross Township, on March 15, 2016. Wife of the late Thomas Edward. Daughter of the late Ward and Beulah McElhattan. Mother of Ann (Jim) Meyer, Mary (Daniel) Barnes Jones, Thomas Edward Barnes Jr., and John William (Elaine) Barnes. Grandmother of Susan Bressler, Erin Meikle, Jeffrey Meyer, and Paige Marie Barnes. Great grandmother of Gianna Marie and Charlotte Nancy Meyer, who arrived as Nancy went to Heaven. Sister of the Earl McElhattan, Raymond McElhattan, Joseph McElhattan, Judy Switzer, and the late Beatrice Longnaker, Thomas McElhattan, and Betty Randolph. Also survived by many beloved nieces and nephews

Mrs. Barnes was the church organist for St. Ursula and St. Alphonsus churches
