Patricia Kay Lyons Stauff

Patricia Kay Lyons Stauff, of Glenshaw Pennsylvania, born February 23, 1934, passed away peacefully in her home after being lovingly cared for by her son, Mark.  

Wife of the late Herbert Paul Stauff.  Pat was born to the late Marion Wahl and the late Paul Lyons and lived in Pleasant Hills, PA.  She graduated from Clairton High School before moving to Dorseyville, Pa. with her dad, stepmother, the late Helen Cheers Lyons and siblings.  She earned an RN from Allegheny General Hospital School of Nursing and practiced nursing for many years.  

She retired from nursing to raise her family and is survived by daughter Cynthia Stauff Feldman (Robert), son Mark Stauff (Connie), and grandchildren Hannah Feldman Williams (Ryan), Lily Feldman, Emery Feldman and Alex Stauff.  She is also survived and will be missed by brothers and sisters, John Lyons (Sandy), Karen Morrison (Timothy), Kate Shofner (Terry), Mary Jorgenson (Paul) and Paul Lyons (Barbara) as well as numerous nieces and nephews.  

Pat attended St. Bonaventure Church in Glenshaw and participated in several bible studies over the years.  She loved tending to her gardens, going on garden tours, feeding the birds and taking care of her beloved pets, Ruby, Sassie and Birdie.  She loved family get togethers and going to Rehoboth Beach, Delaware and Kiawah Island with family and friends.  

Pat was truly a beautiful angel on earth, living a life full of love, compassion and caring for others. Pat’s family would like to send a special thank you to the UPMC Hospice nurses, Maria and Rochelle for their wonderful care during the past 7 months.  

No visitation.  Interment held privately.
