Susan Halliday

We unexpectedly lost Susan Swineford Halliday, age 68, of Wexford on April 12, 2026. Sue’s life was full of joy and kindness. She loved her family and friends. She was an excellent cook, and people often asked for her recipes. Sue loved live music, her nieces, her cat Bailey, her grandchildren, and was always good for a hug and a kind word. She had a contagious laugh and an infectious smile. She was a huge sports fan who loved her Pittsburgh teams (Go Steelers!), Rory Mcilroy, Phil Mickelson, and cheering for the underdog . Her presence will be sorely missed, whether at the family get together, watching football or dancing in the kitchen. Thanks for all the memories, Susie. Time spent with you was time well spent.

Step Mother of Leigh Skaggs (Kendall Croom) and Jessica Halliday (Ben Boswell). 

Grandmother of Morgan Anderson (Jake) and Truman Halliday-Skaggs. 

Daughter of the late John W. and Mary Ellen Leary Swineford.  

Sister of Marianne Davis (Jeffrey) and the late Martha Jane Spriggs (Surviving Craig) and John William Swineford. 

Aunt of Emily Reed, Jessica Stalnaker (Bob), Lindsey Barnes (Nicole). 

Great Aunt of Izzy Ducamin and Graham Barnes, Logan and Emma Stalnaker, and Sarah Jane Reed. 

Visitation Friday, April 17th from 2-4 PM and 6 PM until Blessing Service at 7:30 PM at Neely Funeral Home, 2208 Mt. Royal Blvd. Glenshaw, PA 15116.
