Thomas Peck Obituary

Thomas Vernon Peck, of Valencia, PA, passed away on April 27, 2026.

Born in Pittsburgh, PA, he was the son of Margaret “Peggy” Peck and Everett “Jiggs” Peck. He grew up in Glenshaw, PA and was a graduate of Shaler High School.

Tom was a hardworking man who spent much of his life working on cars, doing body work, and taking on labor-intensive jobs. He was known for being the first to arrive at work, as he loved early mornings, working long days in the heat of summer, never complaining of hard work. He took pride in his hands-on skills and had a natural ability to fix just about anything.

Beyond his work, Tom had a creative side that many admired. He loved making miniatures, carefully crafting log cabins and recreating meaningful places with incredible attention to detail. He found joy in giving these creations to close friends and family, leaving them with something lasting to remember him by.

He is survived by his loving daughters, Christina Biernacki of Pittsburgh, PA, and Veronica Spataro of Pittsburgh, PA, who loved him deeply; and his cherished grandchildren, Jared, Ruby, and Blake, who brought him great pride and happiness. He is also survived by his former wife, Kim Peck, who remained a part of his life.

Tom had a deep appreciation for the simple things in life. He enjoyed hunting with his dad, riding his Harley-Davidson, fishing on his boat, and cooking out on the grill. He loved being with his family, listening to rock and roll, and enjoying cold beer and chicken wings. He was content with what he had and found happiness in those moments, something those who loved him will always remember. He also had a special place in his heart for his cats, Gina, Twinky, Candy, and Lulu.

Family and friends will be received at Neely Funeral Home on Friday, May 1 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, May 2 from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM.

A wake to celebrate Tom’s life will be held on Saturday beginning at 4:30 PM, with the location to be announced.

He will be deeply missed and forever loved by all who knew him.
