Thomas S. Stormer, Beloved husband, father, uncle, cousin and friend, passed away peacefully on May 11, 2026.
Husband of Wendy for 30 years.
Father of Scott, Justin, Bethany and Morgan
Son of the late Gerald and Leta
Brother of Sandy, JoAnn, Leonard, Jerry Dean and the late Dale.
Also survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews.
Tom was a devoted husband, loving father, faithful in Christianity, Steelers fan, and a friend to everyone he met. He was known for his kindness, contagious laughter, and ability to turn strangers into friends within minutes. Whether through years of outreach work, helping students pursue college opportunities, or simply offering a joke and a “free hug,” he spent his life putting others before himself.
He built an incredible professional career, including leadership roles with Unisys, Digital Equipment Corporation (DEC), and IBM, where his charisma, work ethic, and gift for connecting with people made him one of the nation’s top salespeople. No matter how successful he became, he stayed humble, approachable, and deeply grounded in his faith and family.
Tom also served his community in many roles, including inline hockey coach, soccer coach, USA Swimming marshal, church officer, substitute teacher, and academic advisor.
Tom loved board games, traveling the world, and sharing laughs with the people around him. He was a simple man whose greatest joy came from loving people well and serving others.
He was hardworking, funny, stubborn in the best ways, and deeply compassionate.
His legacy of faith, generosity, joy, and love will continue to live on through the countless people whose lives he touched. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered."
No Visitation, services to be held at a later date.
