Walter J. Boyle of Hampton Township passed away on August 13, 2020 at the age of 71.
He is survived by his beloved wife Mary Catherine Boyle (Green). He is also survived by his brother Frank Boyle and his wife Nancy of Media, PA, his sister Rozanne Farrell and her husband Frank of Cary, NC, niece Jennifer Farrell and her children Jack, Finn and Madeline of Connecticut and Patty Columbe and her husband David of North Carolina and nephew John Murphy and his wife Heidi Motz and their son Michael and niece Kim Durski and her husband Jim and their sons Alexander and Andrew. Also survived by cousins Amy and Bill Rodgers and their children Claire and Brynn and Katie and Mike Bunn and their children Nolan and Lydia as well as cousins in Prince Edward Island, Canada and the Boyle families of Ireland and Philadelphia. They hold a very special place in his heart. Son of the late Francis and Mabel Boyle. Walt was a very proud U.S. Marine where he served as a Captain. He loved that he could serve his country. He then went on to work in the food business and spent over 30 years with Louis F. Leeper Co. He loved his job but also loved retirement. He was a faithful Communicant and member of St. Catherine of Sweden Catholic Church. Walt was a very special person to many people. He was kind, generous and outgoing. He could strike up a conversation with anyone. He was affectionately known as the Mayor of Northwood Acres. He loved chatting with everyone in the neighborhood when walking his best friend, Louie. He will be missed by so many. He had so much gratitude for those who helped him in his last days. We wanted to especially thank Maggie Lattanzio for helping to make his life easier in his last few moments. There are so many others that he loved and wanted to thank but are too numerous to name.
