William “Bill” Earnest Bowen Jr., of Pittsburgh, formerly of Munhall, was welcomed home by his beloved late wife of 55 years, Charlotte Bowen, on June 9, 2026 at the age of 81.
Loving father of Terry (Peg) Bowen, Darla (Bruce) Kazmierczak, William (Tracy) Bowen.
Proud Grandfather of Krystina Bowen, Matthew Bowen, Connor (Iris) Kazmierczak, Adam Kazmierczak, and Mackenzie Bowen.
Also survived by former daughter-in-law Barbara Bowen.
Preceded in death by parents Jean and Thomas Deigan and William E. Bowen, brother Robert (June) Bowen, and sister Gloria (the late James) Yedlicka.
William worked at U.S. Steel Homestead Works, and then later at WHEMCO Steel Casting, INC in Homestead as a Welder, where he retired February 2013. He was an avid Pittsburgh Steeler and Penguins fan. William was a Veteran of the Navy.
Visitation Monday, June 15 from 3-8 PM at Neely Funeral Home, 2208 Mt. Royal Blvd. Glenshaw, PA 15116. Funeral Service Tuesday, June 16 at 10:30 AM at Neely Funeral Home.
