Age 96, surrounded by family and friends, at the Shaler home she owned for more than sixty years.  

Born and raised in Pittsburgh by her parents, William and Bertha, "Kay" is predeceased by her brother William Jr., as well as her sisters, Mary Giddo and Elizabeth "Betty" Bonnenberger.  

A valued employee of Bell Telephone, Kay settled in Shaler with her husband, the late Albert C. Sr., a veteran of World War II and longtime owner/operator of Havrilla's Gulf Service Station on Route 8.  Together they raised three sons, Albert C. Jr., Joseph B. (Betty), and John (Rose).  Cathryne's legacy further survives with her grandchildren, Aaron (Lisa), Joseph C., James (Alexandra) and Julie.  

As a keen card player, Kay was a Life Master at Contract Bridge, an Instructor at CCAC for Contract Bridge, and was the first President of the Northway Bridge Club.  

Visitation Tuesday 2pm - 4pm and 6pm - 8pm at Neely Funeral Home, 2208 Mount Royal Boulevard, Glenshaw, PA 15116.  

Mass of Christian Burial Wednesday 10:30 a.m. at St. Ursula Church, 3937 Kirk Avenue, Allison Park, PA 15101.

She shared her light through her life and so shall shine forever with everyone she knew.
