Son of the late John and Kathleen Monsted.
Brother of the late Kathleen Cotter and Audrey Barber
Grandfather of John W. Monsted V and Katharine Ballew.
John was a 32˚ Mason who was born in New London, WIS., served with the U.S. Navy during the Korean War, was a graduate of Lawrence University in Appleton, WI, married Ruth in 1957, moved to Pittsburgh in 1964, worked for and retired from Mine Safety Appliances in 1991.
Visitation Sun. 2:00 p.m. until the time of the service at 3:00 p.m. at St. Paul’s United Methodist Church, 1965 Ferguson Rd., Allison Park, PA 15101.
