June Grenesko Douthett

DOUTHETT, June Grenesko, age 90, of Chatanooga, TN formerly of Pittsburgh, on Oct. 21, 2019. She was born on June 5, 1929 to Wallace and Mary Vaniels. June was raised in Pittsburgh, but spent most of her adult years in Beaver and Beaver Falls. She was preceeded in death by her parents; her sister, Jean Aminowicz; her husband, Carl Grenesko whom she married on her birthday; and second husband, Harry “Butch” Douthett.  

She is survived by her twin sister, Joan “Fritzie” Dinert; brother, Wally Vaniels (Mary Lou); her son, Don Grenesko (Marcia); daughter, Maureen Hancock (Tim); stepsons, Dave and Ken Douthett; stepdaughter, Lori Volz; six grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.

June was proud of her Polish heritage.  She kept a meticulous house, enjoyed cooking and crocheting and loved her family gatherings. Most recently she enjoyed living near her daughter, Maureen, in an adult community in Chatanooga, TN. 

Visitation Friday 11:30 AM until the time of the Blessing Service at 12 NOON at Neely Funeral Home, 2208 Mt. Royal Blvd., Glenshaw.
