Hugh "Butch" A. Burgoon

Hugh A. Burgoon (Butch), age 73 of Shaler Township formerly of West View passed away on May 9, 2023 surrounded by his family. 

Husband for 52 years to Jamie (Heller) Burgoon. 

Father to Tracy, Bernadette and Hugh (Colleen) Burgoon. 

Duda to Zlatka and Bobby. Foster buddy to Gavin and Silas. 

Son to the late Clara and Al Burgoon and Son-in-Law to the late Bob and Mickey Heller. 

Butch was a proud retiree from the Army and Army Reserves and he was a recipient of the Solider’s Medal Award. Butch worked for the United Way as a Community Service Liaison. He was proud of his work with the labor council taking pictures of the Labor Day parade and working with the North Hills Band to collect toys for Stuff A Bus. 

Visitation Sunday May 14th from 2-4 and 6-8 PM at Neely Funeral Home, 2208 Mt. Royal Blvd., Glenshaw, PA 15116. 

Funeral Service Monday May 15th at 10 AM at the funeral home.
