Joseph William Snyder

Joseph William Snyder, Age 71, died peacefully on August 26, 2020 at Mercy Hospital, in Pittsburgh, surrounded by his loving family. Joe was born in Pittsburgh on February 17th, 1949 and was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph H. Snyder and Mercedes (Graham) Snyder. He was the beloved and devoted husband for 43 years to Diane M. Snyder; The loving father to Colleen (Adrian) Knox and Joseph W. Snyder; The Loving “Pup-pup” to Caleb, Jacob, and Noah Knox; The beloved brother to Patti (Ronald A.) Smith and Jim (Donna) Snyder. He also leaves behind many nieces and nephews. He attended Most Holy Name Grade-School on Troy Hill and Robert Morris College located at the time, Downtown. Joe will always be remembered for his wonderful sense of humor and deep love and devotion to his family. Family and friends are welcome from 1-4 and 6-8 PM on Friday, August 28, 2020 at Neely Funeral Home, 2208 Mt. Royal Blvd., Glenshaw, Pa. 15116. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 AM at St. Bonaventure Church, 2001 Mt. Royal Blvd., Glenshaw, Pa. 15116 on Saturday, August 29, 2020. Interment will follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery on Mt. Troy. In lieu of flowers Memorials may be made to The Little Sisters of the Poor, 1028 Benton Ave., Pittsburgh, Pa. 15212.
