Melissa Catherine Hernon

Melissa Catherine Hernon, of Hampton Twp., passed away suddenly on  April 9, 2021, on her 50th birthday. Loving wife of Dave and mother of Alayna, Andrew and Alivia. Daughter of Peter and Bonnie Pitterich Nelson Mislanovich. Sister of Frank and Chris Nelson and Amanda Mislanovich.She dedicated 25 years working for UPMC as a radiologic technician. While juggling being a mother and working, she still managed to put everyone before herself. She was truly the rock in our family and was the glue that held us together as a whole. Melissa had the most beautiful and creative mind and that was reflected in everything that she did. With the most uplifting and radiant smile, she could easily manage to brighten anyone's day. Anyone would have been lucky to have known her. She will forever be in our hearts and continue to inspire us to be the best that we can. We love you.

Visitation Monday 5 PM until the time of Blessing Service at 8 PM at Neely Funeral Home, 2208 Mt. Royal Blvd. Glenshaw.
