Mrs. Lidwin Fabiola de Silva

Mrs. Lidwin Fabiola de Silva, 90, of Shaler Twp., died Thursday, July 23, 2020 at her residence of 4 years at Independence Court - Monroeville.  She was the beloved wife of the late Dr. E. Gregory de Silva. Loving mother of  the late Kumar (Ellen Conway), Sunil Gregory (late Theresa Mikus), and Sumithra Sam (Debra Denicola); grandmother of Lindsay (Daniel) Hobbs, Michael (Maria), Gabrielle (Garrett) Myers, Joseph, Christopher and Alexander; daughter of Don Gabriel and Mary Saparamadu; sister of late brothers (Earnest, Anotone) and sisters (Thekla, Irene), sister-in-law (Mena and Marina) and late (Lucian, Edward, Jerry, Desmond, Bertha);  Dear Aunt of Anotonnete (Desmond), Linus Dep (Hyacinth). Also survived by many extended family members and close friends.

Special appreciation is extended to Suzan Huebner, Monarch Hospice, Angel and staff and residents of Independence Court who cared and loved Lidwin.

Lidwin foremost was loving mother for children and grandchildren. She worked at Vincentian Home until she retired with her husband in 1994

Visitation will be  8:30 to 9:30 a.m. on Tues., July 28 at Neely Funeral Home, 2208 Mt. Royal Blvd., Glenshaw. Mass of Christian Burial  Tues.  at 10:00 a.m. St. Bonaventure Church, Glenshaw.
