It is with great sadness that the family of Richard “Dick” Neely of Ross Township announce his passing at the age of seventy-four on Nov. 14, 2022. He was and will always be a loved husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend to those around him. He lived his life in service to those needing direction, guidance or a helping hand. He was an active member of St. Paul’s United Methodist Church for 40 years, a choir member and integral part of the St. Paul’s Players where he lent his talents for fifteen years. Dick was highly involved in the local Cub Scouts for more than a decade and was always staying active, whether on the golf course, on one of his numerous hikes, or umpiring local Little League games.
Husband of Cheri Rust Neely.
Father of James Richard (Alesha) Neely and Jennifer Neely Brown (Ian).
Grandfather of Hailey and Wesley.
Son of the late Karl and Jane Neely.
Brother of Robert (Pegi), David (Kami)and William (Teresa) Neely.
Also many nieces and nephews.
Visitation Thursday 2-4 and 6-8 P.M. Neely Funeral Home 2208 Mt. Royal Blvd. Glenshaw.
Service Friday 11:00 A.M. at St. Paul’s United Methodist Church 1965 Ferguson Road, Allison Park,PA 15101.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to North Hills Community Outreach or to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.
