The Blahas were like my second family growing up in Glenshaw. Mrs Blaha was a wonderful woman with a lot of love and patience . I have been in Texas for 37 years and still received a Christmas card from her every year. She will be greatly missed .

We are so very sorry to learn of your mother/grandmother's passing. We only met her once at Abigail and Michael's graduation from LSU, but we remember her grace and beauty well. She was a lovely lady. How very coincidental that this comes during the season of Thanksgiving, as she is someone for whom you are all so thankful. May the memory of her give you comfort and may you experience the peace that surpasses all understanding during this time of grief. You are all in our prayers and thoughts during this time.

Love you all!

My heartfelt sympathy to the family for the loss of your loved one. Such a loss brings many tears and much heartache. God is aware of your pain and has promised to "wipe away the tears from all faces" when he swallows up death forever. Soon no one will experience the heartache that losing a dearly loved one can bring. May this promise bring you comfort and strengthen you during this difficult time. (Isaiah 25:8, 26:19)

Our thoughts and prayers are with your entire family. Your mother was such a dear friend to our parents. Betty was a wonderful God loving and compassionate person. I will miss not being able to email her and send her cards, as she always listened when she knew I was missing my mother. My brothers say Scott Avenue will not be the same.
God bless all of you children and Lee.
Love,
Karen & Tom Lassiter, Tim, Tom, and Pap Ellenberger

It is with a heavy heart that I send my deepest condolences to such a fine lady. It was always so great to visit with Betty on my trips to Pa to visit with my Dad. I always admired her faith, strength in raising a wonderful family, and her care for Lee. I am comforted, in the fact, that she and my Mother will soon be celebrating a glorious reunion. All her pain, discomfort, and worries are left behind and she is in the shining light of the Lord. All our love to the family at this time.
