Dolores A. Gartside

Age 86 formerly of Glenshaw, Pa. peacefully passed away after a long battle with cancer, surrounded by family on May 2 at the Lutheran Senior Life Passavant Community.

Beloved wife for 65 years of the late Roger H. Gartside.

Loving mother of Christine Cameron (Keith), Michael Gartside (Carol), John Gartside (Cathy) and Mary Kay Tappe (James).

She was a devoted grandmother of 12 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.

She is also survived by her sister, Rosemary Keller.

Dolores was born in York, Pa., moved to Glenshaw, retired to Coudersport, Pa. and moved to Charleston, SC for 3 years before moving to Zelienople after Rogers death last May. She enjoyed writing, playing the piano, volunteering and spending time with family.

Family and friends will be received at Neely Funeral Home, 2208 Mt. Royal Blvd. Glenshaw, Pa. 15116 from 6-8 on Thursday, May 18. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, May 19 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Bonaventure Church, 2001 Mt. Royal Blvd. Glenshaw, Pa. 15116. Inurnment will occur at 12:30 p.m. at the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies, 1158 Morgan Rd., Bridgeville, Pa. 15017.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Catholic Hospice, www.catholichealthservices.org in Doloress name.
