With his family by his side and after a courageous battle with cancer, Jim went to be with the Lord on August 26, 2016. Loving husband of Nancy and father of Brian (Rebecca) and David. He was a proud and doting grandfather of James, Elizabeth and

Christopher. Cherished son of Raine Cool and the late James Cool Sr. Adored brother of Robert (Diane), Kim (Randy) Solomon, Clint (Dawn) and brother-in-law of Joann and Don Shields. Also survived by many nieces and nephews who loved him. Jim was born in Clinton, Pa. and received a degree from Penn State University for Mechanical

Engineering. Until his retirement he was employed by Duquesne Light for 30 years. He was

an Elder at Glenshaw Valley Presbyterian Church. Hunting and spending time with his family was what he loved most. He was a good friend and neighbor to many, always willing to help someone in need. he will be sadly missed by his co-workers and many friends for his kind heart. All who knew him - loved him.
