Kathleen Mawhinney

Age 86, formerly of Shaler Twp., passed away with her loving family surrounding her on June 20, 2017.

She was the beloved wife for 62 years to the late Andrew Whiz.

Loving mother of Sandra (Martin) Kowalewski, William (Peggy) and Michael (Monique) Mawhinney.

Proud grandmother of Martin, Lauren (Zavilla) and Andrew Kowalewski; Kevin, Jessica and Maddox Mawhinney and 8 great grandchildren.

Also survived by her sister and best friend Virginia Perry.

Preceded in death by her sister Grace and brother Paul. She also leaves many nieces and nephews.

She was an original member of St. Bonaventure Parish and a volunteer at Kane Regional Center. She was a woman always on the go and always ready to have fun. She will be sadly missed by everyone.

Visitation Thur. 5-8 p.m. and Fri. 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at Neely Funeral Home 2208 Mt. Royal Blvd. Glenshaw.

Mass of Christian Burial Saturday 10:00 A.M. at St. Bonaventure Church.
