Father of Danny (Donna) Matthews, Carol (Scott) Boggs and Linda (Richard) Schmitt.

12 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren.

Brother of Clair Matthews and the late Ira, Ted and Keith Matthews and Phyllis Shepard.

Dick was a longtime member of Elfinwild Presbyterian Church, Elfinwild Lions Club and was a veteran of the Korean War serving in the U.S. Army.
